Goalie Attitude

My brother was kind enough to pose for a couple of shots with him in his new goalie gear. I definitely think I achieved what I set out for, with the top image being the favorite of the three. All of the photographs were taken with a Nikon SB-800 positioned to the right in a softbox. There was also another SB-800 on a smaller light stand acting as a fill light for the left side.

I used a Nikon SB-900 as the commander unit. In the first two shots, you can see the small background details that help make the photograph. In the top one, you can see the crossbars of the net, and in the second one, you can see the street hockey ball in the background.

Once again, I learned a lot about how flash helps the photograph. I had wanted to do something like this for a while, but had never successfully pulled it off.
