The Least Terns have a very interesting courtship display. The male presents a fish to the female, and if she likes it, will take it and then proceed to mate. I never did see them mate, but was able to catch a few courtship displays.

looks like she wasn’t having anything to do with him.. guess he needed better fish.. I like the middle pictures the best… with his wings outspread… kinda like he is saying “geesssse lady, what do I have to do to get your attention?” all three are great, but that one is my favorite.
