There weren’t just American Oystercatchers at Milford Point! This Semipalmated Plover put on a good show as it posed in front of a stand of salt marsh grass that is reflected in the water. The colors of the water create a very relaxing mood to this image.
And this is the exact opposite. Rather eerie looking, but I still like it. This is a Great Egret.
I figured it out…. You like birds… whether it is the feathered bird or the metal bird you like the whole “bird” thing… These last two are beautiful shots. Not that the others aren’t I just really like these. Especially the Plover. I like the reflection of the grass in the water. It helps to bring your attention to the bird.
