Nikon recently released its newest DX camera body called the Nikon D7100. It is the upgrade to the Nikon D7000, but in my opinion, it is a whole new breed of DX bodies. The general size and weight is about the same as the D7000, but it features a new 24 megapixel sensor, compared to the D7000′s 16 megapixel sensor. It has a ton of features that are common on FX bodies, but not seen on DX bodies. Below is a comparison between the Nikon D7100 and D7000 camera bodies.
These are the biggest differences between the two cameras in my opinion. From all of the test shots and reviews I have seen, it looks like one heck of a camera! The Nikon D7000 is a GREAT camera, so if the new D7100 can top it, it is something amazing!

so when are you getting one? I’m saving for the Canon D70… I don’t even think it is out yet.. saw it at the Expo in NYC in Oct. Felt good.. but like I said… I’m saving for it.
I don’t know about you.. but I’m tired of winter pictures.. ready for some buds… and flowers… and even some birds… anything but snow… 23 more days til spring.. WAHOO!!!!
Either this camera or the D600 are on the top of my list. List if the keyword.
Can’t wait until spring as well. All of this grey is really poor for pictures.
