Wind Whipped

This shot was taken on one of our first nights on Folly. This tree is in the same general area as the other one I had photographed, but is easier to photograph at a higher tide. What made this shot tough to get was the wind! My weather channel app said it was a 21mph sustained wind. And what does wind kick up on a beach? Yes, sand! And sand does not go well with camera gear. I did my best to keep the gear clean, and still allow me to get the shot. I would have liked to have switched lenses to my wide angle for some landscape format shots, but that was impossible. Nevertheless, I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out.
